Virtualization Software

The ZXTM Desktop Edition requires virtualization software to run:

• Windows and Linux users can use the free VMware Player or VMware Server software.

  VMware Player lets you easily run any virtual machine on a Windows or Linux desktop PC, and VMware Server allows you to run multiple virtual machines on a Windows or Linux server. Choose VMware Player if you are unsure.

• Windows users can also use the free Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 R2 software.

  Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 R2 runs on Windows Server 2003, Windows XP Professional and Windows Vista systems.

Download and install your virtualization software before you proceed.

The ZXTM Desktop Edition

Download the ZXTM Desktop Edition for your preferred virtualization platform:

		VMware on Windows, Linux or MacOSX Compressed .zip file
		MS Virtual Server on Windows Compressed .zip file

The .zip file contains a folder; extract this folder and its contents, storing them in an appropriate location. You will need approximately 500Mb free disk space.

Installing the software

Now, proceed to Step 2 - Installing the ZXTM Desktop Edition - to get the software running.
