ZXTM 4.0 released

Zeus Extensible Traffic Manager 4.0 and ZXTM 4.0 LB were released on Thursday 20th October. ZXTM 4.0 is a major revision of the ZXTM product family, containing a large number of performance and functionality improvements, and many stability improvements and bug fixes over previous releases. Core new features include:

  • Content Caching: ZXTM 4.0 includes a full HTTP Content Cache for web content.
  • ZXTM Control API: The ZXTM Control API provides a means for external applications to manage a ZXTM cluster.
  • IP Transparency: ZXTM 4.0 appliances can preserve the IP address of the remote client when forwarding requests to a back-end server.
