  • RTSP support gives full support for RTSP media delivery over TCP and UDP.

For more details of the changes, take a look at the ZXTM 5.0 Release Notes.

Upgrading

Customers with valid maintenance and support contracts will be able to download this release from their customer page.

See the relevant instructions for upgrading your ZXTM or ZXTM LB installation:

Important note: The Java Extensions functionality requires a new license key. All ZXTM users will be able to download an updated license key from their customer page to enable this functionality.

I would like to complain about the depreciation of SOAP API names 'Sardine' and 'Kipper' as - well they made me laugh, and if all the API names were this good - I want to know them all... BRING BACK SARDINE & KIPPER.

Also please, please let me know what HADDOCK, COD, ANCHOVY and MACKEREL do?

That's all!

They will be introduced in ZXTM 6.0 (Fishing edition)

We are still struggling to find what HADDOCK could be an acronym for... any suggestions?

SARDINE used to be 'Session Aware Request Distribution IN Everything', I can't remember what we stretched KIPPER to stand for though...

Oh - well I sort of guessed it would be the

"Hybrid Application Double Digit Overrun Concurrency Kicker"

Err - you did get round to doing that didn't you?
